How it all began
One small favour sparked
a completely new idea.
At a family party in 2016, the children ran into trouble with their PlayStation. Gareth stepped in, fixed the problem and got the games running again. The following weekend, another friend called asking for help with their child’s console.
That was the moment the idea took shape: turn a genuine passion for gaming and technology into an experience that could make celebrations easier for parents and more exciting for guests.

Gareth is the founder and gaming fan behind Home & Away Gaming. What began as a quick console repair developed into a business centred on creating memorable shared experiences.
His role goes beyond delivering equipment. It includes understanding the venue, preparing the setup, helping guests get involved and making sure the technology supports the occasion instead of becoming a distraction.
